Portrait Story: "Escaping Starlet"

While working on projects, stories pop up in my head and sometimes, I get inspired by the model or the assignment or whatever hits me at the time.  In this dramatic portrait workshop, the model Anja inspired this portrait series for me.  It started in the studio but came more alive during editing.  

Working with a cinematic theme, I followed Anja from behind the camera through her journey as a young starlet.  Watching her resentment unfold as she tires of the tumultuous and languid procession of being constantly watched and photographed as an object and her final escape looking for a connection.
